The Institut Prospective et Sécurité en Europe (IPSE) / Institute for European perspective and Security, is a Paris based think tank, created in 1988. It’s main focus is to analyse in a prospective perspective majors trends in regards to the international security and diplomatic agenda. Composed of 30/35 fellow and associate researchers located in Paris, Brussels, London and Geneva, IPSE produces policy papers, consultancy notes, academic articles for a track two diplomatic policy making process, notably in relation to mediation, facilitation process in disputed areas such as MENA, Sub-saharian Africa, Central Africa, Persian Gulf, Caucasus, Central Asia, Southeast Asia. Created with the ambition to foster and develop an autonomous and robust ESDP, IPSE as been avdvocating since it’s creation for the consolidation of Europe as a solid diplomatic partner.
